Pulling unit with two driven belts

The traction is operated by two driven belts, disposed longitudinally along the cable axis. The two belts turn on carrying groups of sliding position and forced by pneumatically operated regulation cylinders to adhere to the interposed cable. Belts are in polyammide reinforced with high performance strands.

The cable is maintained in the transversally correct position by couples of chromed rolls at the input and at the output of the unit. Drive by CA (with inverter) or DC electrical motor.

The exclusive use of a belt transmission has eliminated the necessity of the usual motor gear and, thus, the connected noise and any necessities of maintenance.
