Ribbon pulling units

The cable is forced against the pulling capstan by a large ribbon, running on three idle guide pulleys, the centrai having mobile position and the two lateral having fixed position.

The rubber tension, and therefore its pression on the cable, can be regulated by a pneumatic cylinder lowering the position of the centrai idle pulley.The capstan is driven in rotation by an AC (with inverter) or DC electrical motor.
