Altec Successfully Commissions First Single Twist Line for Custom Category Cable Production

Brugherio (MB), Italy — Altec is proud to announce the successful commissioning of its first Single Twist Line dedicated to the production of high-performance category cables tailored to customer-specific requirements. This milestone marks a significant step forward in Altec’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge cable manufacturing solutions.

Custom Cable Range

The newly commissioned line is engineered to produce a wide range of category cables, including:

  • CAT 5e UTP

  • CAT 5e FTP

  • CAT 6 UTP

  • CAT 6a F/FTP

  • CAT 7 S/FTP

  • CAT 7a S/FTP

  • CAT 8 S/FTP

Each cable type is manufactured according to precise customer specifications, ensuring optimal electrical performance, shielding integrity, and compliance with international standards.

Built and Tested in Brugherio

This advanced machinery was designed, built, and rigorously tested at Altec’s new facility in Brugherio (MB). The successful commissioning reflects Altec’s engineering excellence and its ability to deliver turnkey solutions for complex cable production needs.

Installed at Italiana Conduttori

The Single Twist Line is now fully operational at the Italiana Conduttori cable factory, where it plays a pivotal role in expanding production capabilities. The customer’s strategic investment includes a second line equipped with a back twist pay-off system, effectively doubling the original productivity for special cable types.
