Extrusion line for sheating in thermoplastic materials

The sheathing lines for thermoplastic materials can be customized according to customer needs. The standard configuration proposed by Altec includes:

- A pair of pay-offs stands

- An accumulator, horizontal or vertical, for rapid change of the unwinding reel

- A delivery caterpillar or a double flywheel

- An extruder assembly, consisting of a main extruder and, if necessary, secondary extruders for co-extrusion, as well as an extrusion head

- An adjustable and telescopic cooling tray

- A cooling tray, single or multi pass

- A pull caterpillar or double flywheel

- An accumulator, horizontal or vertical, for quickly changing the drums being wound

- A double take-up
